EQEmu compiles a 'world' and 'world.exe'. So does EQ2Emu. POSIX boxes are smart enough to know the difference when running more than one 'world', but Windows likely isn't (guessing).
Request: *ducks behind a crate*
LE, can we change the name of the World.exe to something else? Maybe EQ2World.exe?
The reason I noticed this is that on one of my linux machines, I run EQEmu - and I just tossed EQ2Emu on there too, which run together just fine as far as I can tell in separate sessions. However, I have a script for terminating EQEmulator that - today for the first time I ran while EQ2Emu was running) and my 'kill world' ripped them both down.
I have worked around this issue for now by simply using restricted user accounts for each emulator, so one does not have the permissions to terminate the other. But this got me thinking... and you know me, Chicken Little Head...
Thoughts? Concerns? Not that important? Just letting you know.
