Help: Xul.dll is Missing

Post by FloofySpaceBun » Fri Jan 12, 2018 3:55 pm

Sooo, apparently no one else on the Discord server has ever had the error and I don't know how to fix it. It says to reinstall the program and "Everquest2.exe" wasn't even there until after I used EmuPatcher, so I figured I had to reinstall EmuPatcher..which I've done 3 times already and no change.

We got this fixed on discord.
It has to do with using a a streaming client. To fix this download the full client.
See the live client tutorial on how to accomplish this.

Disregard that, it's still not solved.

The fact that you didn't have Everquest2.exe is odd unless that is a streaming client thing as I never used that. A full download of the game from live should have Everquest2.exe, and currently with the live client working with the emu there is no need to run the emu patcher. Really all I can suggest is patching to live and getting the full client then try connecting to the emulator (again don't run emu patcher)

Make sure to follow step 3 on the guide Cynnar linked, if the resource address line isn't commented out the client won't work with the emulator.
