SSL Changes

Post by John Adams » Sat Apr 21, 2018 9:52 am

All,

Just a notification that I am "futzing" with my webserver today trying to get the SSL certs working across all sites and automatically updating. Hopefully it will not break THIS sites cert, but if something looks funky, let me know here.

All done :) Whew, I didn't break it.

Only thing I noticed was I don't think non-HTTPS redirected me to the HTTPS address.
I think it was doing that before.

Good catch. I have my bookmark directly to https, so I missed that. I don't know how (E)xpanding the existing cert broke that, but it should be easy to fix.

Edit:
Found it. Apparently when you (E)xpand the existing, it duplicates the base and www in the -le-ssl.conf file, but comments out the redir because it will cause a loop. No idea why it put it in there, but taking it out makes it fwd fine.
