suggestion on web editors

Post by Ememjr » Sun May 26, 2019 3:46 am

we really need some some tips ( if thats even possible) or somthing to help the content devs when adding content
here is one example
not bashing neatz09 since he did the groundspawn tables, becuase i dont think he knew he was supposed to do it

but ground spawn items have a colum that is label rare, and so when we add a rare to the table, that colum is marked yes
but also if you add an imbue item to the table it must be marked as an imbue item other wise you get way to many imbue items in the harvests

so having a toll tip or some kin d of guidance on the editor page will help guide us on what to enter

That would probably be because he did those tables before the imbue stuff was added to the editor

I have never looked into setting up tooltips on a web page so not sure what is actually needed for them.

I'm pretty sure I've used https://atomiks.github.io/tippyjs/ previously.
You could roll your own solution or just use CSS or something, but a little JS never hurts.

You can also do it pure CSS.
