Yes, it's the tail end of Monsoon here in Phx AZ and Mother Nature has saved the best for last; tonight not only did we have 4 hours of non-stop torrential downpours, but the entire time my exact neighborhood was repeatedly struck by lighting. It was pretty epic.
Surprisingly, the only thing that got zapped was the cable modem. It was going to take Cox days to get here, due to the level of outages in town, but I got lucky with a local tech in my area that was able to come by at 10pm and swap modems and check the levels.
All appears to be working, but as usual whenever I have to completely yank the servers from the power grid; please check things out, and let me know if something isn't working right. I'll check back through this week for any updates, and [mention]xinux[/mention] knows how to get ahold of me directly.
