Starting City

Can someone explain the starting city? Thinking back more carefully I think I started at Qeynos, because I was actually a HE paladin. But I don't get that option, I just get Kelethin as the start point for good races, or Halas/Kelethin for neutral.

The other starting zones are not developed enough to give people a good enough play experience. There has been a lot of development in especially the classic starter zones recently, so soon(tm).

Thanks Rylec, at least I know I'm not doing it wrong. BTW it doesn't seem super stable, in the Gwenevyn Cove or wherever it is last night, I was about to take the ferry to Halas when it crashed and kicked me out, and when I returned all the quest-givers were gone, so I was stuck.

...and at the moment I can't get to the character select screen, it seems stuck on login. I just get the Create Character and Create 90 character buttons but they don't do anything.

I stopped by the Discord a little while ago, it tells me I need to claim and verify my account to send messages, but when I hit the claim account button it tells me the email address is already registered. I see no instructions, what do I do?
