Login Failures (New Client from...)

Post by John Adams » Mon Mar 03, 2008 5:15 pm

This just started recently, I am not sure of the exact version but maybe around 75 using the 4696L client. When my server first starts (usually), even if I wait 5-10 mins, I will get hung up at "Logging into zone server" indefinitely. The world console reports this:

Code: Select all

Login Lock Check (MinStatus: 100):, UserStatus: 255, CharID: 394
AddAuth: 150 Key: 1204587292
768275 New client from ip: 192.168.1.1 port: 2819
768275 New client from ip: 192.168.1.1 port: 2819
World: Removing client from ip:192.168.1.1 port:2819
(server is currently locked due to spawn testing)
Most times, I can click Exit on the client screen, retry and get right in. Today, it's no go after 2-3 attempts so I thought I would log it here. It has become _so_ frequent the last week, it's noticable when I do NOT have the problem. heh.
I thought it might have something to do with the Locked = true, but it seems to happen in either state. And with all my other problems, likely only happens to me. ;)
192.168.1.1 is obviously my router address... which in this config has worked for literally hundreds of logins. However, if there is a better way, I'm willing to try.

Antonica is spawned right now. I'm having a devil of a time re-synching my migration script heh. They should all be back tonight. I saw you did log straight in. Maybe I am in fact not waiting long enough after server restart.
Either way, if it's a real bug, you'll eventually find it. :)
