I propose the beginning of a collective idea:
Part One: Boss Spawn Locks
1. The boss mob only spawns for people who have the quest which requires the spawn.
2. As long as the party which spawns the mob has 1 person standing when the boss is killed, everyone in the party gets quest credit.
3. Loot for boss mobs can not be rolled for until all party members are present (to keep the last man standing from taking all the loot).
4. Once the boss mob is killed, a 2 hour timer be imposed on all members of the party. As long as there's a party member in the group which has killed the boss, it will not spawn again until either the timer is up, or the person leaves the party (to give everyone a chance to have a go at the mob and complete their quest).
5. Mandatory lock on the boss mob. Once the boss is engaged, no one from outside can help. So it's either kill or be killed (or run like hell). If a party abandons the boss mob and it hasn't been killed, impose a 5 minute timer for the party to re-engage the mob or the boss despawns and the 2-hour lockout timer begins.
Part Two: Price Caps
I don't plan to see any plat sellers on the Emu, but I do have a concern for the economy. I propose the ability to put price caps (at the Admin's discretion) on everything on the market. We could agree on a set amount for what certain items should be worth, or what not, but I really do see a need to keep the economy balanced, and being able to sell a level 10 rare weapon for 9999999999 plat is only destroying it.
