[REQ] Enable spawnpercentage

Post by John Adams » Tue Apr 01, 2008 6:11 pm

I could probably figure this out, and in fact I will attempt it myself. But can we sneak in the ability to utilize the spawnpercentage field in the spawnentry table? Right now, 0-100 doesn't seem to matter - they always spawn.
This would be helpful (immediately heh) to stop these insane spawns I have created from spawning.

Well that percentage was designed to work in conjunction with spawns assigned to the same spawngroup so that you can specify which ones are more rare than the others. However, I can also allow it to never spawn things if the percentage is lower than a given number.

I understand the 'placeholder' concept, but if the percentage is 0, there should be zero chance of this guy to spawn, imo.
Maybe a `spawn_condition` would do, too? Example uses would be the seasonal decorations that only occur once a year or something like that.
But for now, my other problem is solved so this is not a necessity. I just happened to set all my spawnpercents to 0 thinking it wouldn't spawn anything and I could enter the game.
