Hello, and Thank You

Post by WaveringMinds » Mon Apr 21, 2008 10:08 am

First off i just had to say Thank you very much. I have been looking for an EQ2 Emulator for a long time now. I've been a fan of EQ for as long as i can remember. Sadly, however I was never one to develope programing skills. I wish i could help, i truly do. So knowing this i will do whatever i can to help out this server. Second I do believe I should say hello. Not much more to that i guess. More truly excited to get immersed in the game, and work with everyone out there. Once again i give you all great thanks for the work you are doing.

Welcome, WaveringMinds. There is plenty to do for non-developers. Gathering info for quests for one thing, or helping with the spells/skills project chrrox is spear-heading. Plus, there is always updating the WIKI when new info gets posted on the forums but not to the wiki.
And of course general cheerleading is always good.

I'll Be glad to do what ever research you need done. I'll get started on it asap. Need to find the IRC to download, as well as where to post quest info, and view what info has already been given. Or i could get off my lazy rear end and find the search  Either way thanks for the welcome to the comunity, also looking forward to give my contributions.

This is the thread chrrox was talking about spells and scripting: http://eq2emulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=607
The forum you can post subissions for the database is http://eq2emulator.net/forums/viewforum.php?f=16
General stuff (working things out, asking questions, posting ideas or concepts) could be dumped here: http://eq2emulator.net/forums/viewforum.php?f=17
I'm thinking at least for now, spell, skill, quest info/flow/reward data should be posted to Database Dev. We can always move it to it's own category/forum if it grows.
