/spawn remove doesn't depop spawn

Post by John Adams » Sat Aug 02, 2008 6:19 pm

I can't remember if this instantly removed the spawn before, but I think it did. Target a spawn, type /spawn remove, and the announcement is that it was removed succesfully - however, it is still standing there.
I believe the next time the zone starts up, the spawn is of course gone. The data is definitely removed from the zonespawn* tables... but I'd like to see it disappear before my eyes if possible.
(move to features if this is not a bug)

It is /spawn remove 1 to depop it as well as remove it from the db.

Oh. :/
Not to be (too) difficult, but is there any circumstance you would want to keep it there? Or are you planning for us to remove something then say "OOPS! I didn't mean to remove that!" ?
heh. Either way, thanks!

I can't remember why I did that exactly. If you would like it to remove the spawn without the one, let me know and I'll change it. it doesnt matter to me.

Let's see what the community says, if anything. Personally, I would like it to poof immediately - but I can start adding the "1" to the command, no worries.
Don't bother changing it now, since as you said there is probably a reason you did it that way. :)
