Spells/Abilities resource links

I'm looking to be drown in EQ2 Spells and Abilities related web links, but for the life of me I cannot seem to find hardly any with decent information. They all say the same damn thing, 3-4 stats and a picture of the spell. Big whoop.
Since I am incapable of casting every spell of every level in the live game for capture, we're going to need a backup plan. If we have to hand-edit all 3800 records (some of which may be dupes), I'd like to know our sources are accurate.
EQ2 Wikia seems a decent site. Anyone verify that it is as close as it's gonna get? And I know some OCD player has an excel spreadsheet with every stat of every item and spell in the game, I just can't find that mystical tome

They all kinda suck as far as spells are concerned.
I think the best back up plan would be to get screen shots of the spells.

Yeah, but that still doesn't tell you all the nitty gritty we need - which means maybe the packet logs are the best way to go for the detailed stuff.
I'll have to compare EQ2 Wikia with one of my screen shots from the live game to see what is missing - which will be a lot, I am sure.

Yeah I think the eq2 wikia is the best site i've seen. Are there any class-specific sites which would have any more detailed spell info for that class?

I personally use www.lootdb.com to find any information on items. You can sort by zone, monster, etc.

We are talking about spells/abilities.
That site is awesome for items, but for spells/abilities its not so good.

That EQ2iDB thing keeps pooping up everytime I turn around. I keep downloading it, installing it, then realizing the author used some assy proprietary DB engine that I refuse to crack into and delete it. Then, 2 mos later, do it all over again. It's age, really.
Does that DB have spells/effects infos? And, anyone savvy enough to convert it to maybe JetDB (Access) or Excel?

I uploaded the database to the db project SVN server. Feel free to move it to wherever you want to put it. I keep meaning to use the db and set up a script to get all the item links from live but I havent done so yet.

Oh yes, of course mysql will work lol. I just thought if any hobbyist Db hackurs were out there to break that [whatever] database, excel would be easiest. I didn't know you had a copy, or I would have harassed you months ago.

Your best bet is probably EQ2 Wikia, since it is usually updated quite frequently.

If you are looking for some site that has spell/CA info in some form of DB, I don't think there are any

Really, I am looking for a Lucy clone of spell info like they have for EQ... but I know it does not exist. I was just hoping someone squirreled away a spreadsheet of info collected during their game play or something.
We'll just go with EQ2 Wikia and screen shots then, and hopefully build spells/abilities that are close to accurate. Folks can always /bug it if it's wrong, and we'll fix it.
