Since it's been mentioned...
Does anyone know if other languages are still back in the working versions?
I wanna know before I patch for hours and hours for nothing :)

Why would you patch for hours and hours when ROK out-of-the-box works fine?

That hadn't occurred to me. Also I wasn't really for rebuying the game, but looking into it it's got all 4 expansions so woohoo.
Thanks.
Edit: I bought it but I'm unable to figure out how to download it. Is it just installed through the client on log-in?
Edit Edit: Crap. It just enables it for your account. In order to get the build from RoK you need to buy a physical copy, don't you? Crap.

I am not sure about that. See my other post, you probably should try to get a refund if you didn't get software by downloading it per their advertising.
Best bet is to get the DVDs though, since re-installing is our favorite pasttime around here.

Because there are some aspects in the Live client that don't exist in the RoK box set, such as the new bank feature :)

End of the day Jul 31 2008, the current patched client version is 5012T <-- T? I hope that doesn't change :)

I thought T was for test, when I went to play the Test server it was T and Live server was L. But it seems to be wrong or something.
Yes todays current patch is 5012T, but the emu isn't up to date yet.

Go ahead and patch to 5016L. I'm not sure what is up with the 5012T, but I would rather have 5016L just in case they fixed something important that was broken in their test version.

Note that login will soon allow your client to login to it, but it WILL not work properly on worlds until they have been updated with the proper structs/opcodes. As soon as I have made all the changes necessary for both I'll upload them to SVN and the update server as well as make a post letting you guys know about it.

OK, just restart your World server and it will automatically update opcodes (assuming you didnt turn updates off) and you will be able to login using the latest version. They didn't make any structure changes that I am aware of, only opcode changes.

5097L seems good, too. So far.
