Instancing
Will instancing work through the emulator? I know eqemu, they havent had much luck with instancing, so I am curious.

Well, the thing was, Eq was never a huge instanceing game for the longest time. The EqEmu team had a existing server that they built and added stuff to over the time, but instancing to my knowledge would be hard to do for the way the server is set up. Now EQ2 on the other hand is alot harder on instancing. So naturally, starting back from scratch and makeing a new emu, you can plan ahead and get the code working for instancing and not be caught off gaurd with it down the road.

Yes, EQ 1 was not big on instances. Not until Lost Dungeons of Norrath. EQEmu was built prior to LDoN so instances were not thought of and never really seen.alfa wrote:Humm my English is badSo I do't really enderstand your post héhé.
