The time is winding down for the alpha release of EQ2EMu. Expect it no later than Monday (Oct 15th). Much thanks should go out to LethalEncounter for all his hard work on the project.
I encourage everyone to start more visitations in IRC on eq2emulator.net (#eq2emu), users and developers alike.
MMO Emulation projects is not small task and needs a strong community to support it, so please help us out.

yeah, I'll try to test a bit. I'm learning c++, I hope I'll be useful in a few time.
Will instructions to modify our eq2 configuration be written?
I don't want to mess my online EQ2

Be sure to note that this is the last time we will update to live before Kunark, so make sure that your client is patched to live and either make a backup or remember not to patch again until the expansion is released. If you dont follow these directions you probably wont be able to connect if they patch sometime between now and the expansion release date.
