Clarification.

Hello. I am new here and i was wondering if someone could give me a hand?
1. This is an Emu Server, How do i start playing? or do i need to make my own server before i can?
2. Can i play without any expansions?
3. i have a limited edition 2nd disc, will this change my compatibility?
4. If the server is playable, what version Of Eq2 do i need to play?
And finally, i am really sorry if this is annoying, wrong thread, and so on. I was just looking for some confirmation on a few questions. Thanks for all the help.

4. You will need to run EQ2.exe in your EverQuest II directory so that it can patch all your files to the latest. Once this is completed, follow the instructions in the tutorial section. If you just want to play on someone else's server you dont need to setup your own server. Be sure to note, that not all servers that are listed on the server list will allow other people to join.

Thanks a lot. That was all i needed to know. I have been searching for months for a PS, and by the sounds of it you guys are doing a great job. Thanks so much. I checked the server list like the tutorial said and it said it was unavialble, does this mean there are no other servers, or is that service down atm?

Server list isnt available through the web yet. It is available only through the eq2 client.
