EQ2Emulator Java chat client

Can anyone verify for me that the Java Chat client (located here) still works or not? Both IE6 and IE7 as well as my FireFox browsers all show just a huge screen with nothing in it but what looks like a missing graphics image.
IE flat ignores it and says something about learning more about java at microsoft site (the irony)... while Firefox at least reports the applet did not initialize.

Mine works. I also just updated Java about 2 weeks ago. Before then, no Java applets were working for me. When was the last time you updated yours?

Ok, I guess I need to include some kinda note that you actually need to have the Java shit loaded to use the java-based IRC.
That's kinda dumb. If you have to load software to get it to work, why not just load an IRC client? duh.

You get to choose between Java & IRC. Or both : ).

mine doesn`t work now,both X-chat client or web chat,says time out.I tried IE7 and Chrome...

When I posted earlier that was with IE7.

I tested a few days ago with firefox, and it works fine.

Thanks for the heads-up, JCL. There was some talk about moving/splitting the EQ/EQ2 IRCs in IRC - but I can't say that has happened. I believe the IRC for both is hosted at the same place, so if one is down, the other should be. Not sure if LE and Rogean are going to change that up asap or not (that hold host has been a royal pain).

Anyway, if you can mIRC also is denied for me right now... so it's likely not the Java client. Keep trying though.

Yah I am moving the IRC server to the new server I just haven't done so yet.
