Windows MiniLogin 1.0 Server Available

Post by Image » Mon Dec 22, 2008 1:45 pm

The MiniLogin Server for Win32 is available on our public SVN (here and at googlecode)

The minilogin server works similar to the main login server except that it is limited to 5 user accounts and 1 world server.

To you, the mini login looks similar to the world server, it is ran through a command line and communicates with an MySQL server and also the login network communication. This requires some different files eg. login_db.ini

Please read over the README.TXT carefully!

A linux-based minilogin can be expected in the future along with a GUI-based windows minilogin server.

If you have any questions, concerns, problems with the minilogin please post them in the Windows issue forum.

Thanks!

Image, that is awesome news. Lots of folks waiting for this option. Thank you for your work on this.

I will open the Minilogin support forums now since this is released.

Great release! I'll try it when the build is updated again. I deleted my backup for room, but now I'm ready to do more testing and database stuff now.

Haha, excellent work! Image, did you build this from scratch yourself?

I'm anxious to test it, will report any bugs as soon as I find them.

Just a little bump for those who do not know, there is a EQ2Minilogin.exe that occasionally gets updated to the public SVN repositories. Login rarely changes anymore, but when it does, I will attempt to bump the public version so your 0.7+ worlds have the latest login abilities.
