Re: Just how interested are you?
Now that I've wiped the gigglespit off my monitor.....I must say, a lady NEVER commits to do ANYTHING. She will do something, perhaps a lot of things but never, never "anything". That being said, I am an RPG fanatic so I guess that places me in the top tier with the exception of declaring myself willing to do anything. Shameful, that. Hahahahahahaha.
Actually, I've been diligent for the past 2 days and am testing items one by tedious one. Cloaks down, then hands. A no brainer and just the way I like it.

Fanatical, possibly a little late fanatic (0.4), but one none the less. Since this seems the place to admit useless, count me in to a fair degree. I can't play live (no income, parents aren't THAT helpful in my gaming aspect),I can't test as i have the smallest limit in the world, there is the unfortunate aspect of patches, and I only have the base game of Eq2, not a single expansion. I have no C++ coding skills, but I have coded in other more derelict languages. I don't think there is any other way I can help.

Re: Just how interested are you?
I'd admit im pretty fanatical about it, i really want to see it all come together... would help in any way i can, been browsing through the forums for the past few days on and off... really not sure what else i can do without C++ knowledge then bug reports atm. Really interested in the project though and the game in general, loved playing on the live servers when i could afford it. I see greater possibilities for a private server though, creating custom items, quests would be alotta fun..

I am more than excited for this, highlights of my EQ times was raiding on SoD EQ1 for 28 hours with no deaths... And it was a pug. never got so many upgrades!
I hope there is a good sized modding community ready for the emulator to make the modded servers, im tempted to pick up c++ and give it a try. lmao.

I don't like the direction the live servers are going so I'd like this project to at least be able to emulate some of the earlier expansions of EQ.

Re: Just how interested are you?
The official emu server will be following live, however any server admin can take our content as a starting point to make a server based off of an expansion. We chose to follow live as it makes it simpler for our small team to design as we can log into live servers and compare.
