Keep Up The Good Work

Post by tyeten » Fri Oct 12, 2007 1:00 am

This is for every one. I have been watching the progress of this project for some time now and I can tell we are very close to a BIG mile stone. Keep up the good work and remember you have a lot of people willing to help.

You have my full support! I was there when the EQemu project first launched, and when EQ2 launched, I knew eventually there would be an emu for it. I've been waiting for years for this! A big thank you goes out to the people and community that made this possible, a big pat on the back for a job well done so far, and I want to let you know you are very appreciated :D

You can log in now. :) It's just empty. But I have spent 3 nights just /zone'ing around, seeing the different places I never saw in Live.
I see lots of zones marked "Describe me", so if anyone wants, they could help out by defining those zones? Some I do not recognize.
I have a zone list posted at my site (http://eq2.mmoemulators.com/modules/zones.php) for reference, until we get a Wiki or something going here.

I do not see a forum for database submissions yet (I'm sure that'll come when it's time), but if you know any of the names of the zones, perhaps you could post them in the Dev forum for now? If that's ok with the mods.
The table is asking to be populated. :)

Yup, that list linked to my site is pulling straight from my EQ2Emu db on the server. Whatever I get when it patches should show up live.
Edit: Also, did you notice some "zones" are actually just files in what look like a dir > dir.txt? They are not actually game zones, so they crash when you try to /zone to them. If you can ID them and clean those out, it could be helpful too.
