The data I submitted is the first round of Traits.sql I got attached to this thread. I have not received any other traits-related SQL inserts since.
If there are some, please share

Or try committing them yourself via DB Auto-Update.

If I try to add to auto updater and it fails...I'm gonna scream!
Leave the 500K spell range alone for now...I used them.

Without seeing the errors or the queries, I cannot possibly fix it.

The 500k range is the same stuff that's in the 1mil range. Brawny, Nimble, etc. You should probably work in the same range we're all going to be in (by your specification) or you'll have me screaming that everything is broken when it's not

You don't want that, do you?

No they are not...the 1 mil range has all the passive traits, Brawny, Nimble etc.
The stuff in the 500K range are all of the racial tradition type stuff.

Oh. Did we plan it that way? I seem to remember 500,000 from like 2 years ago. Figured you were re-doing them all anyway, so any < 1,000,000 was obsolete. Guess I shouldn't have deleted those from my database

I don't remember if we had planned it that way or not, been to long ago.
Let's just keep how it is now and we can re-do the ID's when the spells DB tables are fleshed out, what ya think?

Yup, that sounds great. I will still want to do race_id * 1000 or whatever to keep them easier to identify - but the IDs can be changed after all the rest is done, you are right.

Can I get some closure on whether or not the CODE aspects of Innate Abilities, Character Traits, and Racial Traditions is complete?
ProjMan: Character Development
I'd like to close out those 0.7.1 tasks if they are. If they require more work, we can leave them open and try to finish them first in 0.7.2 (first being after Jabantiz finishes his entire task list through 0.7.9, I mean

)

Yes all of those, code wise, should be complete.

This is apparently still a bug. /level 10, the Innate stuff is still completely missing, and the Troll Traditions became available and when I went to set one, this is what I saw. Is this data or code?
traits1.jpg
Also, my "Character Traits" line of options (level 8) did not appear available until AFTER I selected Troll Traditions. Is that how Live works? I thought you could pick things in any order, or not at all?
Annnd, I selected Brawny as my Trait, watching my character's STR value, it did not go up in the UI but the spell is in my characters table. Even zoning, the Trait value does not appear to apply.
btw, this is after setting all spells >= 500,000 to be "Not Shown" spell book type, "Passive" spell type, and "friendly = 1", so the NOT casting while zoning in is working fine.

That seems to be an issue with the trait list being sent before or to soon to the char sheet update that when the updated packet arrives the client still thinks you are the previous level (so if you are 5 and /level 10 it will still think you are level 5 when the trait packet arrives) I thought I had that fixed but it seems to have crept back in, will look into it.
the Innate stuff is still completely missing
That is a data issue and either the innate traits are missing or not set as innate. As for the level 0 thing I have never seen that before and will look into it.

Whoops, you're right. All Innate = 0 in my DB. At least one was simple

When I /level 10 my pop up window shows level 10 when selecting a racial trait, the char I tested on only has 1 racial trait to select from though. As for the trait list, no matter what I have tried so far I can't get the list to update after I /level to or past the required level (8 in this case) I swear at one point it worked, not sure what happened.

So screwing around with this some more I noticed the trait list is being sent properly, when you /level 10 the racial traits are selectable almost instantly, however the normal traits are not being updated for some reason. I stopped sending the trait list and the racial traits do not become selectable at level 10 so no clue what is going on now.

Yeah I fudged some data into my tables (valid spells) for a Troll's "Uncommon Insight" Racial Trait, now that I see the 4 Innate I expected, nothing is showing up in Racial, but because I put a level 10 in spell_traits for it, it's squeezed itself between 8 adn 18 on my Character Traits list
UPDATE: Scratch that bug about the trait not boosting my STR. Stupid me forgot to point the spell to Spell/Traits/Brawny.lua

It's working fine.
UPDATE2: Also, scratch the Innate/Racial/Character page display issues. It was all my data that was funky or missing info. The popup for level is probably the only real issue here.
