Aye, me neither, and I am obsessive about bugs ;)

The actual purpose for this change was to make the bugs more visible to those who submit them, too... so they can see their efforts are appreciated and being worked on. Plus, the original bug submitter could come post more details if they wish.

Whoops... I f'd something up. In Forum view, clicking the "jump to last topic" got reset. Sorry. It'll clear itself up after a few days of posting, sorry :oops: Fixed this ;)

But, Bug Priority icons are now in place. Low, Medium, High, Critical, Immediate... obviously in that order. Devs WILL re-prioritize user-posted bugs that are ridiculously prioritized :)

Anywhere around here that shows us what colors are associated with what priority?

I guess one could assume Green = Low, Yellow = Medium, Red = High... but that would make way too much sense. :shock:

Image = Low
Image = Medium
Image = High

I also added a standard warning triangle thingy for Critical, and a lightning bolt for Immediate.

Image = Critical
Image = Immediate

You can also manually assign these by going to the Server/Content Bugs forum, clicking New Topic or Post Reply, and look at the Topic Icons for a visual. Or, Edit a post and do the same (just in those 2 forums).

Due to some recent community bug fixes, I've added a new option to the Bug Tracker for devs - When a bug is verified fixed, please assign whomever fixed the bug in the Fixed By option. This way they are recognized for their efforts and makes everyone feel good. :)

Thank you, elcapototal, for the inspiration.

FYI, I just added a new Status to the bug tracker today: All Open

This will list all bugs set to a status of:
  • New = New bug, submitted by players in-game
    Assigned = a bug assigned to a dev or team of devs
    Server Specific = a bug that did not happen on the EQ2Emulator Live Server (Tess)
    Not Implemented = a bug about a feature not yet implemented (and it should be!)
    Fixed = a bug that is fixed on the EQ2Emulator Live Server (Tess)
    Fixed in Dev = a bug that is fixed, but still only on the Dev Server

Note: "Except" checkbox does not work with the All Open status selection.

Good call as restructuring both the code and the database are going to wreak a little havok at first and allow for easier tracking of what's really needing worked on vs what may have been.
