Thanks been working on that, and tried adding it, and went to restart the service and mysql wont start now.

Just having no luck, so am going to uninstall and try to get Mysql working fully right on my machine before I move on.

Some reason I have an old mysql service that wont go away

You might want to try SQLyog as your interface. I have had some funky issues with HeidiSQL in the past. It seems to parse the sql files oddly.

Another option you might try is going to our Releases forum and downloading the ServerPack, set that up and get it running locally. Then if that all works, you can convert it to being a public server with a few tweaks (details in the included Admin Guide)
