So update from live today or wait till client reaches compatibility again?

As of this morning, SOE was running 5771L, so you should be ok to update. But always backup BEFORE you update, just in case.

Please read the forum rules, and the player guides! You cannot "back patch" and don't ask about back patching! If you have RoK or TSO box sets, just install them and your set to go. If you don't, then update to live and wait for us to catch up! Mind you this might take a while!

Character hair and what not are in the char_color table
NPC's will be in the npc_appearance table

Is that what you are asking about?

Using SOGA are you? :P

The devs don't like SOGA so they haven't fixed appearances for them yet

I've noticed even for non-soga, hair, facial hair, and wings (fae's) sometimes do not show. I think it's a specific setting though, and haven't narrowed it down. Might also have to do with creating a character but never getting fully into the server the first time, and data not being saved properly.

This is a bug, but I cannot seem to prove it. ;)

Imagine how Fae's feel looking like little bald trolls with no wings?
