No, I am talking about filling up the spells_traits table with this data.
Silly, the Traits data is in the DB Editor, too :) Is it not?

Oh I see, I think I pulled the data out of there because it was throwing those errors you mentioned. We can bulk it back in.

I am not putting any Spells data on DB Patcher until we're done.

Out of morbid curiosity, I looked into the state of Alternate Advancements. The code looked in place, but the tables were empty. I figured this was just because we never committed any data ( see the last 11 pages of convo :mrgreen: ) and much to my surprise, and across multiple archived databases I have for EQ2Emu, I found spell_traits, spell_aa_class_list and spell_aa_nodelist data. However, I think the "spell_traits" [mention]Zcoretri[/mention] did years ago no longer line up with the current `spells` table data (that 1,000,000 id range stuff).

Regardless, loading my local DB up with these scattered bits of data, and I have screen displays in DOV client (1096).

I am having 2 other issues I need a reminder of... first, and it could be the data still, when my toon loads I get spammed with missing spells info for the 1,000,000 - 1,000,044 spells - even though manually looking at the spells data I see them just fine (and they are set to is_active=1, if that even still has an affect).

The "tabs" show loading something, yet I do not see it in the screen, which is problem #2 remaining. Note my screenshot, the other tabs show nothing but the default UI placeholder text. And clicking on one of those tabs tells me "You do not have the required expansion to use this tree."


So, anyone remember this system and what trick there is to getting it to fill out entirely? I'm sick of working on the portal, so I need a distraction :) Thought I'd go through the code and see what is and is not implemented (and what still works vs what no longer does).


PS: There's a ton of loggers commented out, I am putting back in and setting to a higher debug level. I think these debuggers come in handy, and might have saved me some time if I saw them 6 hours ago :)

i did have all but 2 of the tabs on my server, those 2 tabs i didnt have were gigving me the expansion required errors, so i havent look at it in a while

Sorry for necro-bumping this thread.

I was wondering if anyone ever finished copying all the AA spells from Live into their database and is willing to share the .sql file?

And/or if anyone has a guide for spell_aa_class_list, spell_aa_list, and spell_aa_nodelist tables in the DB? These three tables are super confusing to me how it's set up. I already figured out spell_aa and spell_traits tables. I even got spell_traits table to work for Stitch PVP server (Racial Traditions, Focus Effects, and Training tabs).

I figured I would post with an update, I have been workign with AA on AoM client for the last couple weeks
so far i have gotten this complete
1. all Tree tabs visible( no expansion required message)
2. all but 3 trees complete and icons showing up
3. the defualt profiles will show up, (only have about a half a class complte
4. figured out the commit button and how to turn it on and off
5. figured out the mapping of the byte for allowing AA to be increased when pressed,(goes and execute teh coomand at server but # does not increse yet
6 more i cant think of

still needed.
