5097L works. Could only get onto one server, and uh. Crashed on first quest... But! Could log on.

5168L INCOMPATIBLE (oct 15 2008).
If you did not backup at least 5122L, you'll need to wait until the structures are verified and Loginserver updated.
edits: btw, I keep updating this post everytime they bump the client til we're synched again.

I backed up client 5097L...do you think that client will be compatible?

Pretty sure they are. I have 5016, 5048, 5097, and now 5122 (all just everquest2.exe changes, aside from LoN decks). I'm sure LE will get 5166 compatible soon, but other things are higher on the priority list.

Ya I was having issues getting onto my server today with 5153L:( So I guess I'll have to reinstall? Or should I just wait? I really dont how to stop it from over patching

Don't run EQ2.exe to start the game. That starts the patcher. Run Everquest2.exe.

soo i downloaded play the fae trial and updated for hours and hours and when i try to log on thru emulator i get client version not compatible or w/e my build is 5185.. is this a build thats not workign atm or did i do something wrong?

I believe only up to 5122 works for now. You will either have to wait for the update, unless you have the RoK box.

soo if we dont have 5122L we have 2 buy the RoK box?? that would suck cuz i own up 2 EoF.. thats when i stopped playin.. and i don't really want/can't afford atm 2 buy RoK
