I can see about setting up an older one though it did work on the other servers

I am not sure how I did it but I got the server working and was able to take and complete quests from the content i downloaded. Thanks for all the help you both provided. It warms my heart to know that regardless of the game's fate, it will always have a home for my family as long as i can host it.

Just a couple of follow u questions/comments...

• Is there any way to change the mini login to accept more than 5 accounts or is that set in stone?

• How thorough is the content in the eq2 emulator content pack. Meaning, is there content for all the zones? I am currently running with the Alter of Malice client.

• I notice that when i create a character, it goes to frostfang no matter what starting city i pick. is that normal?

• can you create 90th level characters? When i went to it, it says the bit about trying it out, but is that a working function in the emulator or should i avoid?

It's not set in stone really, but I cant change the loginserver code, probably because I would bork something up and it would never work again.

I would say all the zones have spawns, but I can't remember what expansion it stops at. As far as quest and spawn scripts go only a few zones have them. Most of those are only partially done. I know FrostFang is one that should be completed, but again I'm not sure on that. Thundering Steeps has some content, if not nearly all of it, Darklight Wood, Queen's Colony, Outpost of the Overlord, Nektroops Castle, and maybe a few more have some quest working. The extent will vary on how much is complete.

Yes it's normal for you to start in FrostFang. It can be changed in the DB though.

From the create character menu no, but in game you can use /level 90 to set your level.

Glad you finally got it fixed, and sorry I haven't added anything the past week or so, lack of free time and the fact your problem had me stumped I just had nothing to contribute anymore.

As for login code, 5 is a limit left over from EQEmulator's minilogin, there has been some debate to bump it to 6 so a full group can form but we probably wouldn't go much higher then that if we decide to change it.
