• World crashing

everytime i run world.exe, the process terminates right after-
Connected to LoginServer: eq2emulator.net:9100
Any ideas? The system is Win2k3.

Maybe your version of zlib.dll? Does the error report say anything about missing or invalid symbols?

you hit the nail on the head. It was zlib.dll. downloaded the one from this site and everything works great.

Yeah, it seems some versions of zlib are missing certain links and symbols which cause unexpected crashes.
Glad you cleared that up. =)
