Game freezes in "Adding character to zone" part. Here are the details:

Version: 5301L

The eq2_default.ini line reads as follows: cl_ls_address eq2emulator.net

It doesn't work in any server at all

I am not sure of version 5301L, so I cannot say we support that particular version. I had 5280L and jumped to 5316L so I have no idea where that version came from. If you can, you should patch to the current live client and give us the version number you end up with. Chances are that newest version is supported, or will be soon. Then you can log in.


Edit: Today's client (5343L, Jan 9, 09) will need new data structures before it can work, but patching to it won't hurt since your other client definitely doesn't work either. LE usually gets the live client supported within a week or so. You can try again after this.

how do I patch it???

You pay your SOE monthly subscription fee and connect to the SOE live servers via their patcher.

cheaper to sign up for the 15 day trial, than connect to SOE servers using the trial account, it will than update your client to the latest version..
