I bought the client :3 im fully up to date :3 but o.o.....

running 5343L ^^ so it should work o.o :3 I am able to get in and get as far as connecting to zone server, I think it is not working because I just noticed that mine says JAN 9 rather then JAN 1 at the top, could that be the issue even tho the numbers match up^^? I'll keep hunting the forums for infos :3

Grats on getting everything up to date. backup that dir so that you don't mistakenly update it to live again which we may or maynot be compatible with.
Ok what server are you trying to connect to?
If your own change your LoginServer.ini this line
to
that will update your database the next time you run your server to the dev database for use with the svn server.

hmm. tess should be working I can log in there.
Can you try and connect to my server bion test i normally keep mine locked as I bring it up and down and change things with it all the time.
if you still cannot log in after you made a backup dir use your live dir and patch again this time do a full file scan to see if anything is needed to be updated the reason for a backup first is that there was a patch today the client is 5360L but everything seems to be working on it. ie logging in running around attacking.

The only other things I can think of that might the issue is try deleting logincache-us, logincache and cache folders from your Everquest II folder. make sure all your drivers are up to date as well as directx. and make sure your firewall is not blocking eq2.
I am assuming you can login to live. is that right?

Delete the contents of your clients "cache" and "logincache-us" (or whatever country is represented) and run just the Everquest2.exe again.

i managed to connect to dev server ^^ , fun server seems to be troublesome hangs up at that same spot o.o

it was just named Fun server, , How can I get my paws on a list of ids? to help test? I searched but turned up only a few ids that didn't work o.o ^^ its fantastic so far by the way :3

To what id's do you need to know about? The only official server used to beta test features for the emu is tess
