Do you not see the red text above? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Do you not see the stickied post that says ASKING FOR HELP, READ FIRST!

To start (and not finish), we need more information. That's like telling a mechanic, "my car doesn't work, what's wrong?" over the phone without him or her actually being able to look at it.

Can you connect to live?
Has your client ever worked before?

For general question related to playing on an EQ2Emulator server (as a Player), please be sure to include the following information when you create your new help topic, as it will help the developers better answer your question.
Be sure your posts requesting Help are in one of the Support forums, unless part of an ongoing discussion/troubleshooting effort. Random posts asking for support outside the Support forum will be ignored and likely deleted.
To get help setting up a
Windows or
Linux EQ2Emulator server, please use the appropriate forums provided.
Required Info:
What is the client version you are trying to connect with? *
[img]
- If your client version exceeds the Project Status version, your problem cannot be solved - STOP HERE and wait for the LoginServer to allow newer clients.
What does the following line read in your eq2_default.ini? *
[img]
What errors (if any) are you receiving during connection? *
- If you are crashing, what are the contents of your alertlog.txt or eq2_crash.log files in your eq2 client dir?
What server are you trying to connect to? *
- Be very specific, if it is your own, we still need to know at least the World Name from your servers LoginServer.ini. If it is someone elses server (you are just a player), the server name listed on your character select screen will do.
Optional Info: (that can help us help you)
Are you launching Everquest2.exe, or eq2.exe?
What is your PC hardware setup?
- Things like CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version + service packs. Sometimes running DXDiag.exe can give you tons of info on your setup.
What is your Internet Connection setup?
- Are you dialup, cable modem, DSL, what is your min/max speeds, etc...
Can you launch EQ2 Client and play on a Live EQ2 server, just not EQ2Emulator?
If you provide us with this information, it is likely we can solve your problem. Connecting to an EQ2Emulator server is very simple, but unknown variables between differing setups can cause unforseen problems. Chances are it is not EQ2Emulator, the login server or the server software itself, but some other problem with your particular client setup.
Note: From here out, any help request without adequate information will be locked or deleted. We do not have time to play 20-questions to solve your problem, we have an emulator to develop.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Our team does not have time to pull information out of people needing help. If it is not important enough for you to supply the required information, it is not important enough for us to figure it out that information in order to help you.
Either provide the required data in your help submissions, or your topics will be closed.

I almost think you are doing it on purpose. How many times do we have to ask you for information? I even posted exactly the info we need, not "I have everything".
Locked.
