What character name are you using? I can check to see that you didn't spawn outside the world somewhere.

I'm not familiar with that version number exactly. You have any other versions you can try, or try connecting to another world besides Tess to rule out your client version?

I had bought all of the eq2 expansions...Kunark was a digital download version... is there a way to download those files without using their patcher?

No you cannot download previous files from SOE's patcher, it always sends the latest version, and there is no other source that you can get previous files from either.

I always create a backup onto a different drive before every game update and/or expansion SOE puts out.

Sorry, Rhianntp... looking at your character data, I do not see anything wrong with it. That error message is something we used to see a lot quite a while ago, and had to do with sending the spawn information to your client when you came within range of them becoming visible. I don't know what else to suggest except try other character creations, maybe turn down your gfx settings in Options / Performance just to see what might be causing it.

Last hope, get on EQ2Emu IRC and see if any advice there can be found.
