groundspawn_entry_id necessary?

Post by John Adams » Sat Feb 21, 2009 10:51 am

This is just a reminder post to eventually look into the necessity of the field spawn_ground.groundspawn_entry_id.

According to a private conversation, LE mentioned we may not need it.

Where is this groundspawn_entry_id originating from? I am trying to set up a quest that needs to harvest a plant and I'm totally baffled at this point.

I think I need 'a faeicia leaf herb' made into a ground spawn from an object.

groundspawn_entry_id is something you can generate yourself (currently) based on the highest current + 1. The editor does this for you when you go to insert a new groundspawn_items entry.

I have converted the Object to a Ground Spawn for you. Let me know if you need others (this menu option is hidden from you guys because it is a total bitch to un-do and I'd rather not have to ;))

spawn id 1140787 now, and clicking on it's spawn_ground link should show you the next highest groundspawn_entry_id of 74.
