I can't find a forum anywhere that I can beg for Items.sql files so I can exicute them into our batch file.
Beg, Beg, Beg.. on my hands and knees Beg.. Beg...
Spawning everything up and adding in quests and not being able to dress or put drop items or even quest items its killing us.
And We Know how hard you guys have worked and feel not only guilty to even ask but truley humbled.
But... If you could find it in your hearts to send me a .sql file I could batch up, We would cry with joy...

Heh, no begging, please! Items (our collects) are not ready to be released and if it is our data, I do not want 1/2-ass data floating around out there. You understand. What I can offer you is the knowledge that if you use the EQ2PacketCollector and PacketParser, you can build many things from logs you collect in-game yourself. There are many documents on this site on how to do that, so I will not repeat.

Another hint I will give you is to insert your own Items record, giving the `item_appearance`.`equip_type` field a value out of the core "appearances" table. Look at the descriptions in `appearances` and you can see that a chest "plate" item has an appearance ID - and that ID goes into equip_type. Then the Red, Blue, Green values "color" the item to give it a unique appearance.

Do this, and you can equip the BP and see it on your toon. Then, you can add item_effects and item_stats values.

For the "official" items list, it will be released eventually - but the sooner people log into Tess and test items and report they are ok, the sooner it will be released.


PS: We might have some older logs I can share, but I'll have to talk it over with LE since they are his collections from a year ago.

Ok fair enough. That is one thing I can say as I have been working with your emulator. Its very very solid and well done.

I'll give better examples later, at work right now. I have a Repack I am waiting to post til I test a few more things, and in that DB are some examples for all these things.

LOL, I'm at work also.
I would love to take a look in a repack to see all the hidden things we could do.
Also one thing I have never noticed is, in eq2 live most of the mobs are standing still.
