Model issues

Alright guys... since I have begun populating my world I have run into two issues so far. One is quite obviously a bug/not implemented correctly and the other is a question.

1.) I prefer the soga models, so in populating my world, I am populating in Soga. Soga eye color is not working. No matter what I set the values to, the eyes stay black.

2.) How do I (Is it possible to) make it so an NPC in a robe doesn't have their hood up or can show a hat?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Far as I know, SOGA is (still) not implemented fully, though portions work. It has never been a priority over other systems. As for "show/hide hood", that is also server functionality - not content. Many of the options on the Persona screen are not implemented, beyond stats, skills and factions.

I am not sure if LE has all the info for those toggles, but just hasn't implemented them - or if further discovery needs to be done. If the latter, I suggest running the collector and going into the game and flipping every switch you can find to see what the data looks like.

I'd like to move this to Server Development if you agree it is not Content (data). I'll leave that to you though.

You can move it whereever you like :P

I just wanted to make everyone aware of this issue with the Soga Eyes. Its not the same issues as Soga char creation not remembering how you make your char, and everything else works on npcs in soga mode with the exception of the eyes. The Devs can deal with it whenever they like, I will just have alot of black eyed npcs and no glyphs for erudites until then :P

Heh ok, I will move it to Bugs in that case, even if not implemented. I know there are a few posts about SOGA there. Maybe after 0.7 comes out, we can slip some support in for SOGA, though I think we're hoping someone with interest and talent jumps on the C++ and helps with little things like this ;)

Off-topic, you are purposefully spawning your world SOGA... but what if I hate SOGA and come into your world with them all off in my client? Will that matter to your game experience? I mean like NPC_1 says, "Go talk to that green guy over there" but what I see in my client is a purple guy.

That's easy... if you don't like Soga go play somewhere else!

Seriously tho, I am mirroring the looks so even if you don't like soga, there shouldn't be any problems. The only real prob I might run into are ogres, since the big green guys are closer to the lore I am using.
