PROJECT STATUS: OPEN ALPHA
Current Supported Client: 5499L (Mar 16, 2009)

Do not patch beyond this date, or you will not be able to play on an EQ2Emulator server!
I connect using 5447 and it seems to work but i would recomend 5499

If the post containing the current client supported is not 5543, we are not yet supporting 5543. I am not sure how we can make that much clearer.

You follow the player guide about not patching passed the current supported client - and if you do, you simply wait patiently for the few days/weeks it might take the developer to get some time to make the newer clients compatible.

Considering this emulator is one of the ONLY ones that support multiple clients like it does, this is not too much to ask people to wait for compatibility if they pass the current version.

I do not mean to be a hard-ass, but this question is asked so much, and we go over the same answers time and time again. Regardless of the version #, the story is the same.

DO NOT PATCH PASSED THE COMPATIBILE VERSION - or wait til your client becomes compatible, and back it up before connecting to SOE again. It's that simple.
