add svn support

I know you want to have a close development community and I think thats the best idea. There should be a patch submit section and you should have a svn so we can track the status and download different versions if need be.

We have a private svn as well as a public svn over on Sourceforge. Did you have something else in mind?

I think he's talking about mangos kind of support. Bug tracker, patches forum where you can read people's patches and use it if ok, etc...

I'd ask for a Wiki before a bug tracker, personally. And if a Wiki is in the works, please oh sweet god in heaven do not make it that asstastic wakkawikki crap that EQEmu has - use MediaWiki or something a little easier to use. Please.

Well, you have the normal way of getting the server, which is direct download, and then you have the better way which is SVN, which is already in place, and you can see what changes have been made in the changelog.
For code submits, there's the forums which is a great medium to submit code on. Others can view it with only knowledge of loging in and click on a link. Dev's read the boards, and will look at others submissions, and add them in if they need to.
Oh, and John, whats wrong with the Wakka Wiki, I find it very powerful and intuative.
*The sarcasm train is now heading out. Thanks for joining me!*

I'll add a wiki as soon as I can... I know I should have had it done by now, but I could come up with a million excuses.

I'd help setup a wiki, but deciding what to use is a big chore. MediaWiki is popular, but seems overly complex. We know what I think of Wakka ~spits~. I ran across PmWiki the other day, looks simple.
I am fiddling with MediaWiki now for my site, and it is a living bitch trying to make it look like anything other than Wikipedia. Maybe it's all the distractions...

You will have to compile it if you don't have Windows.
