Re: is something wrong?
My server(s) were down all morning, and just came back online - so the Dynamic DNS updates are probably still propogating around the planet. Give it a try in 15 mins or so.
Also keep in mind that if you do not get connected, sometimes it's just a failed connection, and you should try again as it may work fine.
For instance:
That's you... connected, loaded zone, then, the server kicked you off. Not sure why.

For instance:
Code: Select all
ZoneAuth: Access Key, 1242514378, Character Name, Rage, Account ID, 4505, TimeSt
amp, 1242514378
Loading new Zone 'Darklight'
Loaded 1227 NPC(s), 37 Object(s), 46 Widget(s), 14 Sign(s), 947 GroundSpawn(s).

Delete any alertlog.txt, verify*.txt or Crash Logs from your EQ2 Client directory and try again.

Re: is something wrong?
I forgot about crash logs. While they are helpful, I am not sure what they do if they linger around
I wrote a little batch file that I use to launch EQ2Emu client:
LaunchEQ2.bat (put this in your eq2client dir)
The "rem" line is to clear all cached data, which tends to make the client not save any settings, hence it is rem'd out. but you can try that, too.
I wrote a little batch file that I use to launch EQ2Emu client:
LaunchEQ2.bat (put this in your eq2client dir)
Code: Select all
@echo off
rem rd cache /S /Q
del logincache-us\*.* /Q
del *crash*.log
start everquest2.exe
