Groups

You read it right folks... GROUPS!

Groups have just hit public TessEq2 so get out there and give them all you got! Everything isn't working just yet, but right-click and more group options are next on the list! Get all of your friends together and break stuff, in a group! A lot of the core group area works, things like inviting and joining groups (obviously), leaving a group, and group chat. a great feature that works if you crash something client side and your leader of your party! Your connection goes link dead, it will go to the next person invited, then when you rejoin you won't have to be re-invited and hassle your way back to the top. Once your connection is re-established, your good to go! A large part of the right-click menu works for group members, I guess windows' takes the cake again!

When i saw the announcement, i went and made a 2nd account to have a go at this.
Invite,chat worked great
Had no display of group members.
Couldnt share quests
Wasnt able to use the /follow command

yeah, as I mentioned in the announcement, we are still working on some of the group functions. Glad to hear you got that all working! reporting anything to the "bugs" section if you tumble on something!

Keep in mind, this is INITIAL GROUP SUPPORT, not complete. So many things are not yet implemented, but we'd like to get some testing of generic features - like joining, leaving, leadership transfer and how it handles LD's.

LOOT is not even implemented at all yet, so of course, lottery loots will not be working. The Loot System is in place, but I have not populated NPCs with much loot yet because of a pending redesign of that system ( Smart Loot(tm) )


Another update I neglected to tell Ilythor (grin) is that the team is ready to move more content to TessEQ2 for evaluation and testing, so look for that this weekend or next - still working out some details.

I have no idea how hard these things are to implement so any suggestions i make are meant to help :)
Is there any chance the mobs could be given just some base loot eg. a few coins and a generic weapon (temporarily) this could assist with the group loot tests
