The Shadow Odyssey - Disc 1

Post by John Adams » Fri May 22, 2009 4:39 pm

I am such a torrent noob, I have been searching for months trying to find Disc 1 of this 2 DVD set, and all I ever run into are asshat sites that demand you be a member. WTF ever happened to free piracy?! Argh!!! Anyway...

This is not a typical request for free software... I bought TWO full sets of TSO from Amazon months ago (some may remember), and Disc 1 on both DVDs were marred beyond readability. Amazon did nothing, said I had to contact SOE. SOE did nothing, because the software was "opened" so no refunds, and the exchange fiasco was so incredibly ridiculous, I'd rather go buy another set of DVDs than waste my time.

Hence, torrent :) If any of you savvy types can direct me to a viable download, I would really appreciate it. I paid for my discs, using the keys now, so SOE can kiss my ass if they don't like this request. I've asked for help from them, and got nowhere. Time to resort to drastic measures.

However, if LE does not like this type of request being here, just remove it. :)

You will most likely never find Disc 1. Since you are using the keys you could download it with launcher. Of course for the emulator that won't work lol.

Right, since we support the TSO original set, I cannot get it from the patcher :(

I'm just really surprised, since with Torrent, I have been able to find nearly everything else I have ever looked for. Odd that this one app isn't around?

I hate to break it to you, but they are as dodgy as a guy in trench coat on a street corner! You can tell because of the file sizes, TSO is a DVD set (If i am not mistaken, I can't get a hard copy here in Aus) so if its .iso's the files would be roughly DVD size, if it's an installer, it would still be in that area of sizes. Good luck trying to even start those fakes torrents. the only site I trust is www[dot]piratebay[dot]org . Good site, lots of torrents plenty of seeders, but no TSO!

Yup, dodgey. Those are the sites that lead you to the water, then make you pay/sign up for membership. And, the file sizes are nowhere near what they should be.
