Is possible to upgrade eq2: echoes of faydwer to try this emu server?

No one has done it (from my knowledge), but I don't see why not. Then again, I am only the Community manager around here!

It should work, most of the things you need client side should come with echoes of faydwer.

mmm i don't know because i don't have eq2_defaul.ini and everquest2.exe; maybe they have different names... it can be?

If you do not have Everquest2.exe, you do not have Everquest 2. If you purchased (from a store, not bittorrent) Echoes of Faydwer, I am fairly certain SOE would patch your client to the current Live version - though it would take 12 hours.

Even if you did, our current client compatibilty stops at 5582L, which you cannot get from SOE anymore. Patch to live, then wait for the current client to become compatible again, or go buy a used RoK/TSO box set for $5 somewhere and not worry about it.

If you use the Station Launcher to download the program, sever of the files are not included that are in the normal install.

I have used the station launcher for a few games, and the .exe's and some other files are in scattered folders. I recommend doing a system search before ruling anything out.

The original box wouldn't have worked anyway, you need RoK or TSO box sets. We cannot send you the files for a number of issues, for the most part they won't be compatible. Client versions, adventure packs and the like. Instead of paying for a whole new month, your best of getting your hands on RoK or TSO. Installing them and playing on Eq2Emu.
