Tried some more grouping :)
3 ogres (neriak based) @ Hate's Envy in Darklight Wood
Invite using target and right click - Worked
Invite targetting and typing /invite - Worked
Invite typing /invite name - Worked
Invite from community page - Worked

Couldnt share quests with group
Autosplit (on the coin that was dropping) not working
Free for all , doesnt seem to work.. I know loot isnt really implemented, but as some of the mobs are dropping totems of testing, i thought these may trigger loot rights eg Free for all , or roll
Group doesnt receive XP from kills...seemed to be either toon that initiated combat, with occassionally if 1 toon out damaged the others then he would receive xp (as though it was just his kill)

/kickfromgroup - worked
/makeleader - Worked
/disband - Worked
/follow (whether targetting or typing /follow name - as help suggests) doesnt work

logging 1 of the group members out , showed the logged out character as Linkdead
party got the message "insertnamehere" has gone Linkdead
then on return (re logging in)
party got the message "insertnamehere" has returned from Linkdead

....edit , after a player comes back from LD (logging out and back in) Group Leader has the option (right click) to nominate himself as group leader again ..

Great bug/verify reports on both, Woody. Thank you for this. A word about "Bugs" and where to put them though...
  • "Content Bugs" are specifically for NPCs/Appearances, Items, objects in a zone, spells or quests that do not function properly.

UI functionality or any interaction with objects or content that does not behave properly would be for "Server Bugs".
A simple way to look at it is like a web page. Say you visit a web page and the text is jumbled up, font unreadable, or buttons do not work. That would be Web Page Content.

Web Server problems would be like a 404 page not found, 500 internal error, 403 forbidden access, or forms that cannot be submitted due to issues with the web server itself.

Content vs Server - and on the Content Team, we prefer all bugs be LE's fault anyway ;)

Keep it up though, your reports are perfect otherwise.

Now specifically to your bugs... yes, a lot of group functionality is incomplete. We (the content team) asked LE to switch gears to implement some stuff we desperately needed, so he will get back to finishing group support soon. All those things you mentioned that do not work yet, we are aware of, but keep them in mind when Grouping gets more work done as it will need to be validated at that time.

Thanks again!

I moved them. No worries about where you put bug reports - we'll take them anywhere. I was just letting you know, since you are actually reporting bugs ;)

Keep on keepin on, man.

A (new) bug with grouping, at least since GU52, group member display is missing. Scat and I in a group, can't see each others stats.
