My name is Scott and I'm also a software developer. I'm 22, and about to finish my last semester of college at Virginia Tech. I was born in South Jersey in the suburbs right outside of Atlantic City.
I do have a job already though as I've been interning there the last two summers and they have a spot reserved for me (there goes my motivation for good grades). It's with the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) doing 2nd level support and programming stuff. I work with a team of about 20 feds and contractors maintaining and developing a system for air traffic controllers called ERIDS (Enroute Information Display System). It's basically just a touch screen monitor to assist air traffic controllers with information such as airport runway plates, aircraft/airport information, weather, etc.
I LOVE snowboarding. I've been snowboarding since I knew what one was. I usually go up to Vermont to snowboard there but occasionally we make it out to Utah and hit the slopes near Park City and Salt Lake City. I've been around computers ever since I can remember. My first MMORPG was also Everquest. I've been playing Everquest2 ever since it came out but recently haven't been playing much as I find working on eq2emu a lot more fun and rewarding. I am a huge first person shooter fan since I believe those games take more skill than MMORPG's which I find reward people who spend the most time playing them
. I used to play Halo (the first one, not the second or third) religiously and now occasionally play Battlefield 2142.
That's about it for me. Now back to writing quests since the DBEditor is back up!
