Hi! I was wondering if theres a way to get the legal copy of the versions you ask to play? if so, how to? I've installed Station Launcher but it started to install the legends of norrath.

Best regards, Terramoto.

Buy The Shadow Odyssey. That's it. The only option.

Not sure if its the correct client version , but there is a trial of EQ2

http://everquest2.station.sony.com/freeTrial.vm

(copied from above link)
Create a Station Account or log in to your existing Station Account.
Click on the 'Try!' button to activate the EverQuest II Trial.
To get into the game, click on the EverQuest II button.

Doubt that is gonna work because I'm sure it's gonna patch to the latest?

Just guessing here.

Ahh good point, i didnt think about the patching,
Was hoping it would download a version, that you could then go through station launcher options and choose whether or not to download any further updates.

I think what you actually download is SOE's patcher program not the actual client files.

If your fast and patch now, given you know you wont have a working copy for ages, just keep it safe and wait on the login server being updated to handle the new client build :)

That's what iv done, took 3 solid days to update the game lol!!!

Sry for double post but this should answer your client question.

If you don't have ROK or TSO cd's then just go and get the trial RoK OR if you have the original EQ2 cd install that, saves downloading all the files lol :p

Anyway, install or get the trial exe, then once u get the 14days... update the game as if you were going for the live servers.

Once done it should be miles past the eq2emu so get the eq2 patcher http://www.eq2emulator.net/phpBB3/viewt ... =58&t=1535 and patch your exe to an older build, Seeing as ppl will look at this in a few months maybe years i cant say what version it will be, but if you pick the latest supported one. If that doesn't download the exe then try the 2nd latest ect ect until you find one that works.

You may be able to update the client more... IE same install for live and emu, just use eq2emu patcher to get your exe back to a supported version, or just back up the live one and call one everquest2 live and everquest2 emu.

Iv not tested this but it should work, Saves you having more than one EQ2 install, after all its like 10gig, and if you have as many stuff as me 10gig is alot :p just swap the emu and live exe's around depending on what your doing.
