Website Down

Yeah, I figured everyone knew because no one posted anything. I assumed it was due to this if it wasn't, would you like me to go ahead and throw an apology out there?

Nah, my router problems do not effect LE's goodies (I'm in AZ, he's well, elsewhere ;)). It appears eq2emulator.net's IP address changed again. So stuff was likely not down, just took a while to propagate the new infos to the world. I thought that LE "fixed" something at 7am today, but there is no post from him saying what happened (unusual) so it could have just resolved itself.

Maybe he's just sleepy from a long night of >rock climbing<  :D

I wouldn't worry about a public notice about it, since the 4 visitors here probably realize it was a momentary outage. But that's up to you.

I think it's DNS. I just hit the IP and can see the site/forums.

Well it probably doesn't help matters that I am running a Linksys WRK54Gwhateverblahblah from 2004 that hasn't had a firmware upgrade available since feb 2005...

No, no no! I won't use the silly router hackurware that's come out because my router is THAT old. Won't support it. So unless I buy a new one, I'm screwed. However, the goal is to get new ISP service with a static IP and use a virtual Ubuntu firewall for my external, internal and DMZ.

THEN I'll be runnin with the big dogs.

I'll need to take my router offline for about 10 minutes sometime over the next few days to rerun the cables. I'll probably do it early tomorrow morning if I have time.
