Is it possible to use minilogin and have your update service? Just thinking about the user/pass fields etc

Guess that means you didn't read the minilogin ServerPackAdminGuide.html nor look in it's tools folder?

Hey I don't see anything in the tools folder that would help? What i'm after is to continue logging in with minilogin/minilogin but have some extra fields for the update service - ie something like this could rock:
[UpdateServer]
updateserveraddress=updates.eq2emulator.net
updateserverport=9103
updateaccount=bleh
updatepass=bleh

That's what mine looks like.
Code: Select all
[UpdateServer]
updateserveraddress=updates.eq2emulator.net
updateserverport=9103

hmm... i think i see what you're asking. You can create a Server Account here for your server so Login knows to let you in, then use the same name/pwd on your Minilogin eq2ls worldserver record, and your local LoginServer.ini. I think that might be what you're after.
Your world will then connect to your loginserver, but check updates.eq2emulator.net for updates. In theory, that might work.
The files in Tools are merely to get you updated, then you can go back to local only - since updates are not too frequent (currently)

Pretty sure they are, yes. use md5('password') in an update query should set the value.
