Crashing at eq2 time of day

hi guys, with the latest SVN and the relased binary i can't seem to boot past the eq2 time of day it will just crash with a program needs to close error.

Debug Assertion Failed!

file: F:\dd\vctools\crt_bld\self_x86|crt\src\close.c

Expression: (fh >=0 && (unsigned)fh < (unsigned)_nhandle)

i get that popup with the latest svn and the window just popsup with the close dialog in the binary release

If you are using the SVN binaries, and updating to the latest EQ2World.exe, you have to also update the structs (*.xml) files also from SVN.

Not sure, never seen that error in EQWorld before at startup.

oh i know why. I have eqemu running so that was conflicting with the ports i bet. lol

That's easy then. Just change your world port from 9000 to 9100 or something :)

yep lol i never thought of it as being a conflict.. oh well i'll leave this up and running and updated for anyone to try out.. well no database so not much to try lol

Eh, when I first discovered a working EQ2Emulator, I was fascinated with simply zoning to places I'd never seen before - even with 0 content. The art work is gorgeous in this game... with the exception of the "South Park Rotating Heads" you get on NPCs sometimes ;)

You know thats why i love the emulator scene next to doing all kinds of fun crap. Checking out zones is fantastic to me and writing my own quests is even more fun lol.
