Linux, SVN, command line.

As usual, I spend an hour "googling" my ass off for a simple answer to something to do with Linux, and of course, even the simplest explanation makes no sense ;)

There are 2 files in our EQ2Emu SVN that I do not need to "update" on my linux box. Compiled Win32/* and Compiled Winx64/*. So I found out I can add "svn:ignore" on those files/folders, but in the end, it wanted me to COMMIT that change.

That freaked me out a little, because I certainly do not want anyone else to have those files ignored. When I do my propedit svn:ignore locally, then COMMIT, it does not ignore that folder for EVERYONE, does it?

You'd think that was a simple thing to research.

TIA
