Building a New Client

This is just a general discussion of your thoughts and ideas about the subject.
Would we be better off building a new client that uses the EQ2 files?
One thought I had is that we could hack it as much as we wanted to and improve on things that SoE refuses to do with theirs, such as dual-core support, and taking the load off the CPU and putting it on the GPU where it belongs.
