I found your server today, and was happy as no one can be happy in his life, really.
I played everquest 2, 2 or 3 years ago and i was in love with this game, but i hadn't too much money to pay so i stopped

I'm writing this message because i need help :
I connect EQ2, no problem
I create my char, no problem
I choose the storm server, no problem
I want to connect in (the server).. oups...
EQ2 error, windows closes my game.

I have read all about EQ2 i can read, i searched everywhere, i think the problem is maybe my version( Oct 27 2009 11:42:44 SOEBuild = 6005L)

But if i can connect on my account, is this a problem of game's version?

If it's the right problem, how can i put down my version to another version so i can connect ?

Thanks again to EQ2Emulator, you can't know how i was excited when i was on eq2...like a baby opening his new toy.

Is 6005L a version right out of one of the box sets or have you patched it at all?

I'm not sure to understand.
I instaled the game with 2CDs i bought in a shop 2/3 years ago.
I was doing updates(with station launcher) without really know what was my version so i stopped in a random time and changed EQ2default.ini etc... i didn't download anything on web, and i didn't put patchs, only clicked 'Update' in official station launcher.

Do i answer to the question?

Well the problem is you probably patched to an unsupported client version. Since your current version doesn't work, you can try using SOE's patcher to patch the current client version, although that probably won't work since LE last updated the server to support SOE's client maybe over a month ago. If that doesn't work I'd try reinstalling the game fresh from those disks, not patching at all, then try connecting to EQ2Emu.

I recommend creating a backup of your current EverQuest II folder before you do any of that.
